The price
£29 a month, never a cut.
That is the whole price of running your field's bookings on wagfield, apart from optional text credits. Monthly, the same every month, whatever kind of month you have. This page is the small print — and there is less of it than you are expecting.
A £12 booking is twelve pounds.

What is in it
One price, and every feature is inside it.
There is no bigger version of wagfield to be upgraded to. Every field gets the lot from the first day. Texts are the one optional extra.

Is £29 the real number, or is there VAT on top?
It is the real number: £29 is what leaves your bank. wagfield is not registered for VAT, so there is no VAT to add, and there is no setup charge sitting behind it either. If we ever do have to charge it, you will hear it from us before you see it on a bill. One line on your bank statement, once a month.
What happens to it when I get busier?
Nothing. It is not metered: four bookings a week or forty, the price is £29. There is no booking allowance to use up, no overage per booking past some number, and no tier you get moved onto for having a good summer.
Do you take a cut of what a booking is worth?
No — not a percentage, not a per-booking fee, not on the busy weeks. Payments run as direct charges on your own Stripe account: you are the merchant of record, the money lands in your bank, and wagfield is never in the middle of it holding your takings.
So what does a booking actually cost me?
Stripe's card fee, which on a UK card is 1.5% plus 20p — 38p on a £12 booking. That is Stripe's rate for taking a card payment, paid to Stripe, and it is the same money any card machine would take. We add nothing to it and receive none of it.
Is anything not included?
Text messages. Every email is included, but a text costs us money to send, so texts — reminders, rained-off notices, waiting-list alerts, gate-code changes — use credits. You get 25 free, then buy them in packs: 100 for £8, 500 for £35 or 1,000 for £58. Rained-off notices and waiting-list alerts text automatically while you have credits; reminders text only if you set them to. You never have to buy any: run out and the emails still go, though a reminder set to text only is skipped.
I already have a website. Do I have to replace it?
No. Keep it and add your booking widget: two lines of code from your admin, and your free slots and booking form sit on your own site. Or just link to your wagfield page.
I have two fields. Is that two prices?
It is £29 for each field that is live, and nothing else changes: the same flat deal on each, no per-booking cut on either, and one bill on one date covering both. A second field is free to set up and starts costing £29 the day you take it live.
Will my bill go up later?
Not yours. If the price ever rises it rises for fields joining after it does; the fields already here stay at £29. That is a promise made to you, not a claim that the number is frozen for the rest of time — and the difference is the whole reason it can be kept.
Is there an annual plan, or a discount for paying ahead?
No. Monthly only, one number, cancel it whenever it stops being worth £29 to you. An annual price would be a second price, and the point of this one is that there is only one.
How do I actually pay it?
By card, at the end of setup, and not before. Signing up is free: you build your page, look at exactly what the public would see, and only then is there a card form — so the first time you pay £29 is the day your field goes live and can be booked. Cancel and it drops back to a private page you can still get into.
Still £29 if you ask us in person.
Set the field up for nothing, see the page a customer would see, and pay the £29 on the day you go live. Or tell us where you are, how many acres, and how you take bookings now — we'll do it with you.
